Hello and welcome to my website. I’m Debbie, the face behind Busy Beeing Mindful.

I have been trained by Mindfulness UK to deliver the evidence based 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course.

I completed my level 3 Diploma in Reflexology in 2016 at the London School of Reflexology under the tuition of its principal Louise Keet.

I’m a Registered Adult Nurse by background with a Specialist Qualification in Community Public Health Nursing.

I live near Norwich, Norfolk, UK and alongside offering the online mindfulness courses, I hope to eventually go on to offer face to face courses and mindfulness retreats in Norfolk.

My own journey with Mindfulness has happened over many years as I sought to find a way to manage my stress levels. I was having difficulty sleeping, work situations would create a lot of stress and anxiety, I would often find that when faced with a challenging situation that would tip me “over the edge” I would explode with a reaction.

I discovered mindfulness apps such as Headspace and Calm, but I wanted to learn and discover more about my stress triggers and better ways to manage these, rather than going through a repetitive cycle of being triggered and reacting rather than responding.

I discovered the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation and completed their 8 week Mindfulness for Life course, a variation of the 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course. To be honest I should have completed this course so much sooner than I did as it equipped me with helpful tools to face the stressful events that were (and still are) being thrown my way!

I’m now a passionate advocate of Mindfulness Based techniques and made the decision to complete my teacher training with Mindfulness UK to share with you the many benefits that Mindfulness offers.

I am working towards Accreditation with the British Association of Mindfulness Based Approaches (BAMBA) and would welcome the opportunity to support you on your mindfulness journey.

Course Structure

The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course consists of eight two-hour live streamed sessions, a half-day retreat which is also live streamed, comprehensive handouts of each weeks learning, and audio recordings for your personal use during home meditations and practice.
